You do not need to reach exactly 21 to win. A hand worth 18 can beat a dealer with 17, a hand worth 20 can beat a dealer with 19, and a dealer who goes over 21 automatically busts against every player hand that is still valid.

A blackjack shoe is the combined group of decks from which cards are dealt. Blackjack Royale simulates a six-deck shoe containing 312 cards.
Cards continue coming from the same shoe across multiple hands instead of creating a freshly shuffled single deck after every round. When roughly three quarters of the shoe has been used, the game prepares a fresh shuffled shoe before the next round.
